The plan orientation was designed and orientated to take advantage of two distinct site lines to adjacent mountain views and anchor the building to the site. With the site grading tapering off quickly to back side of the home and the clients’ desire to limit the amount of level changes with the home, several design simulations were needed to anchor the building to slope of the terrain as well as experience the resulting orientation to the lot.
